I partnered with Annapolis Pride to design the official t-shirt graphics for both the 2022 and 2024 Pride Parade & Festival. Each design served as the visual centerpiece for that year’s event — appearing on merchandise, signage, and promotional materials. The goal for each year was to capture the spirit of the community through bold, inclusive artwork that reflected both the vibrant energy of the festival and the unique identity of Annapolis. While each design had its own distinct style and story, both aimed to celebrate love, visibility, and connection through expressive color and thoughtful composition.

Annapolis Pride Parade & Festival 2024

For the 2024 Annapolis Pride Parade & Festival, I was asked to interpret the theme “Anchored with Pride” — a celebration of standing strong together and fostering a safe, welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community in Annapolis. Inspired by the city’s deep maritime roots, I designed an anchor silhouette filled with vibrant figures representing the diversity and joy of Pride. The anchor served as both a literal and symbolic foundation — a nod to the Naval Academy, local sailing culture, and the idea of being grounded in community. The final design was used as the official logo for the event, appearing on t-shirts, signage, and promotional materials throughout the celebration.

For Annapolis Pride’s 2022 Parade & Festival, I was tasked with bringing the year’s theme — “Many Faces, One Pride” — to life through a design that honored the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community. The goal was to create a visual that celebrated individuality while emphasizing unity and shared identity. As this was only the second annual Annapolis Pride event, the design needed to feel bold, uplifting, and memorable. I worked closely with the Annapolis Pride team to ensure the artwork reflected the energy of the growing community and helped establish a strong visual identity for the celebration. The final design was featured on t-shirts, signage, and throughout the festival as the official mark of that year’s event.
